Was Michael Involved in Do The Bartman?

I'm not aware if we ever got an answer to this. I'm thinking he wasn't involved, the background vocals don't sound like him imo.

He was. Written by Bryan Loren and co-produced by MJ, but he remained uncredited because of recording conflicts. Bryan Loren also stated that MJ contributed towards backing vocals alongside Loren himself.

^^ I think there was a lot of confusion over Do The Bartman and MJ's involvement. Matt Groening claimed MJ wrote it, Bryan Loren denied that and said he was the sole composer.

Bryan Loren likes to up Bryan Loren.

Don't forget, he wrote the rap on Black or White because Bill Bottrell doesn't exist...

Michael apparently said he would write The Simpsons a no 1 hit if they let him come on an episode of the show, and so he did.
