Congrats to Janet for doing what many thought was "the impossible".

One of the few nice stories to come out of the start of 2017. All the best to her and her family.

Yeah, I agree. Glad she had a healthy baby.
My hairdresser had bought tickets to see Janet a long time ago, and she had said once the show was canceled that they were having to fight with the promoters and never got a refund. This was some time ago, but I thought that was odd.

Good. Hopefully she can now move on from that terrible religion and country, and write another album.

She's been based in London for quite some time. Personally, I can see her dedicating herself to motherhood rather than trying to juggle it with being a pop star.
"Because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens a certain number of times, and a very small number, really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even concieve of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more. Perhaps not even that. How many times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless." - Brandon Lee

She can write an album without being a pop star and continuing to be a mother. Erykah Badu masters that art.

If she wants to. Personally, I see her not really wanting to keep recording and to focus on motherhood.
