Bumblebee has nothing to do with Michael Bay. So that makes it good.

Yes! Bumblebee actually is good! Definitely the best Transformers film of the bunch and topped only by 1986's Transformers: The Movie.

It's not a massive robot fight throughout and there's LESS robots in this than in the other ones. It works out very well, imo.

Most recent film I saw with KQ and our daughter was Mary Poppins Returns.

Let's just say that it's not on the level of the original one from 1964! I did get bored as did KQ and our daughter.

The next day, I went out and bought the original one on Blu Ray packed with extras. Will have to watch that soon!
"Because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens a certain number of times, and a very small number, really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even concieve of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more. Perhaps not even that. How many times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless." - Brandon Lee

Been watching quite a few films lately, albeit almost by accident, lol. Saw The Hustle for a film review I was writing as part of my job, then Purple Rain (for the second time) and Under The Cherry Moon (for the first time, those two on DVD).

Last night, my GF bought us tickets for Aladdin, and she left early as she always seems to do, so I watched it on my own until the end, lol. Not exactly an expert on modern Disney movies and what's supposed to be good and bad, but I kinda liked it TBH.

Surprisingly entertaining, Mark Hamill is great as Chucky.

Yesterday, yesterday. A lightly charming and escapist rom-com.

Now I really want a copy of Jack Malik's One Man Only.

    Hobbs and Shaw.

Worse than any F&F movie by far. Has Ryan Reynolds being annoying, well Deadpool really. And then there's Kevin Heart. Nuff said.
Plenty of un-funny comedy and action wise unbelievable.

I rather enjoyed Hobbs and Shaw. And I have never been into the Fast and Furious movies.
